Hangar One Maintenance was founded in 1992 by Henry Schubach, Aldon Colby and Jeff Charvat as a division of Schubach Aviation. Housed in a 40,000-square-foot hangar with associated 5,000-square-foot offices at Palomar Airport that it shares with Hangar One Avionics, Hangar One Maintenance is an FAA-certified Part 145 Repair Station for all makes of jets and turbo-prop aircraft. The company provides full-service repairs, inspections and maintenance for Classes 1, 2, 3 and 4.
In addition to meticulously maintaining Schubach Aviation’s growing fleet of owned and managed aircraft, Hangar One Maintenance provides a full range of maintenance services to the general public. Its team of 10 skilled and knowledgeable technicians undergoes regular factory training through FlightSafety International and SimuFlite.

Formed by Henry Schubach and Ken Piland in 2007 as a division of Schubach Aviation, Hangar One Avionics has grown to become Southern California’s leading avionics company. In addition to servicing Schubach Aviation’s fleet of private aircraft, Hangar One Avionics operates in conjunction with Hangar One Maintenance to provide a full range of avionics services to the general public.
As an FAA-certified repair station and authorized sales and service center for avionics manufacturers, Hangar One Avionics largely services the law enforcement and business aviation aircraft communities.
