Jet Charter Flights to Super Bowl XLIX: The Essentials

Jet Charter Flights to Super Bowl XLIX: The Essentials

Super Bowl XLIX is almost here, and tickets to the game are getting harder and harder to come by. If you’re one of the lucky ones who got a ticket, or if you just want to travel to Arizona to be close to the action, there’s no better way to get there than a charter flight.

At just under 10 miles away from Phoenix, Glendale is a year-round destination for shopping, live music, and sporting events. The University of Phoenix Stadium annually hosts the Arizona Cardinals and VIZIO Fiesta Bowl games, and has a capacity of over 72,000. All of those seats will be filled next Sunday, February 1, when spectators from all over the world come to watch the Seahawks face the Patriots.

Getting There

Over one million people are expected to travel to the Phoenix area next weekend. You can expect heavy traffic, long lines, and other delays. All of the city’s resources will be under pressure, from parking to tee time availability. Avoid the crowds by taking charter flight into the Glendale Municipal Airport (GEU), just two and a half miles from the stadium.

Glendale is a short 1 hour flight from San Diego and can be accessed by almost any private jet, though landing reservations are required over Super Bowl weekend. If you’re traveling with a small group, we recommend the Embraer Phenom 100. Not only is it cost effective, it’s roomy cabin and large windows make for a comfortable and scenic ride.

If you’re going to Arizona with a larger group, or are bringing extra luggage like your golf clubs, consider a mid-sized jet like the Citation Sovereign. With room for up to 8 passengers and 100 cubic feet of cargo space (the largest in its class), you’ll have plenty of space to move around comfortably.

No matter which jet you choose, a charter flight is the best way to travel to Super Bowl XLIX for an unforgettable weekend.
