 Citation I light jet
The Citation I (Model 500) was originally called the Citation 500 before Cessna finally settled on Citation I. The original Citation I was one of the first light corporate jets to be powered by turbofan engines. The highly popular Cessna 500 Citation and 500 Citation I pioneered the entry level light business jet market, and their success formed the basis for the world’s largest family of corporate jets. The Citation I offers economy, impressive performance, and a comfortably quiet interior. The Citation 1 is the first turbo-fan powered business class jet offered by Cessna and the reliability quality which it embodies has kept it in service to this day. This aircraft is well suited to short repeated flights and remains a popular choice with business class commuters and private charters. This edition has the reverse thruster capability which shortens the required distance for landing and offers a corresponding increase in destination selection.
