The King Air 90 was the first aircraft in its class and has been in continuous production since 1964. It has outsold all of its turboprop competitors combined and is the only small twin-turboprop business aircraft in production. Although facing competition from small jets, the King Air Turboprop family retains a strong market share due to the economy and versatility they offer.
