Learjet 55 in flight at cruising altitude.
The Learjet 55 is another sparkling example of Lear’s dedication to high standards. The Learjet 55 has a larger cabin and more luxurious appointments then many of the smaller jets in the same class. Offering standing room in the cabin, you will find the 55 less confining and more comfortable then some of the other private jets in the industry. Although there are other changes, we feel that the standup cabin is the Lear 55’s most impressive improvement. The Lear 55 offers a hefty fifty percent more cabin space than previous Lear models in the line. The cabin dimensions are 5.7 ft high, 5.9 ft wide and 13.7 ft long. Design engineers enhanced the Lear 55’s cabin comfort and amenities, rather then create more seating. The restroom and refreshment centers, although compact, are an improvement over previous editions as well. Taken as a whole, the Lear 55 is the perfect mid size private jet for short to medium range flights. In the Lear 55, we see a company looking ahead and successfully designing a product for the future needs of the consumer. Incorporating the more successful elements of previous designs with innovative new features, the Lear 55 marks a notable evolution.
